Cartier's Déclaration d'Un Soir - new fragrance for fall

Cartier are to launch an "evening version" of their 1998 men's fragrance Déclaration. The new fragrance was composed by Mathilde Laurent and is called Déclaration d'Un Soir. Notes include pepper, cardamom, cumin, nutmeg, rose and sandalwood.

The fragrance is due to launch in the US exclusively at Bloomingsales from August; in the UK exclusively in Harrods in from mid-September, before rolling out to Cartier boutiques from the end of September. Déclaration d'Un Soir will be available as 50ml and 100ml.

      I had a chance to previous try it. My first impression is that this one is all about rose and seems to fit exquisitely the evening idea. It's that kind of rose with a wine edge, one of my favorites. I guess that to like it you'll need to like this kind of rose idea...

      Its shares the previous Iso E base of its predecessors?

      The rose is sweet or dry?

      If I can chip in... the base is very heavy on Cashmeran, in keeping with Laurent's style.
