Miller Harris launch Terre d'Iris

23rd October, 2012

Available now from Miller Harris is Terre d'Iris. According to the company Lyn Harris created Terre d’iris during her time in Grasse, trips along the coast line of the Côte d’Azur and, visiting her favourite Italian coastal town of San Remo.

Terre d'Iris contains top notes of Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian bitter orange, with heart notes of rosemary from Dalmatia, clary sage, orange flowers and roses; the base features notes of orris, patchouli, tree moss and French fir balsam.

Terre d'Iris is available as a 50ml and 100ml Eau de Parfum, and as a scented candle.

UPDATE

It has been noticed by commenters who were more awake than I was, that the fragrance was launched in 2005, as I could have checked on the Basenotes Directory. However, the company are currently describing it as "new" here. I have contacted the company for more information, in case they have launched a completely new fragrance under an old name.

terre d'iris was launched in 2005 if not even earlier. there are threads on basenotes dating 2005 mentioning this perfume (actually mentioning that it was launched in 2003) and on fragrantica comments dating 2010.

Yes, MH sent me a sample of this a couple years ago but at the time, my heart was captured by Fleur Oriental. I remember Td'I as one of the more unique iris scents out there, should re-visit this one.

i doubt it grant. i've looked at the notes and they are absolutely identical (unless some are not listed).

don't understand why they're listing it as new. unless it went away and now it's back. they'd be a lot better off and more successful bringing back 'en sens de bois', 'cuir d'oranger', and 'piment des baies'.

I'll join you in wishing they'd bringing back those as well. I'll update when I hear back from the company. I know I'm often a bit behind in reporting new products, but seven years is a new even for me!

Wonder if they are maybe introducing a new concentration? Believe my sample was EDP; a more relaxed EDT would be lovely. And I know they have offered extraits in the past- would love to try Td'I in parfum!
