British perfume house, Grossmith, are launching a line of four fragrances entitled the Black Label Collection. Unlike previously released fragrances from this house, these scents are completely new and haven't been inspired by fragrances from the company's archives. However, like the previous releases, Grossmith have turned once again to Robertet for the juice.
The four fragrances are:
Floral Veil features top notes of citrus, lemon, green notes and cassis; a heart of geranium, ylang-ylang, rose, tuberose and vanilla orchid; while musk, cashmeran, and amber feature in the dry down.
Amelia features notes of neroli, osmanthus, rose, peony, jasmine, amber, patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver and cashmere musks. The fragrance is named after the daughter of the house's founder, Amelia Brooke (née Grossmith).
Golden Chypre is described by the company as a "bright and contemporary version of the classic chypre", this includes top notes of bergamot, orange, cardamom and nutmeg; middle notes of rose, geranium, heliotrope and patchouli; and base notes of woods, amber, labdanum and musk.
Saffron Rose - as well, as the titular ingredients, this is an oud-based fragrance, which features supporting notes of cinnamon, myrrh, tobacco, castoreum, sandalwood, labdanum, amber and guaiacwood.
All fragrances are available as 50ml and 100ml Eau de Parfum. Prices start from £150. A travel kit is also available, which features minis of Floral Veil, Amelia and Golden Chypre.
The range will be available at Roja Dove Haute Parfumerie (London), Fortnum and Mason (London), Scent Bar/Lucky Scent (Los Angeles), Parfums Jovoy (Paris) and other Grossmith stockists.
