will take over the fragrance license for Kenneth Cole
, which is currently held by Coty
. Michael DeVirgilio, president of licensing and international at Kenneth Cole told trade magazine, WWD, that Parlux was "perfect partner to develop a new scent direction and their strength in the international fragrance market further supports our strategic marketing initiatives"
Kenneth Cole's fragrance license started life as part of a now defunct division of Givenchy called "American Designer Fragrances". The division also held licenses for Michael Kors (now with Lauder), and Marc Jacobs (now with Coty).
