Mona di Orio are to unveil Eau Absolue at the Esxence fragrance fair later this month. The perfume was one that di Orio had worked on before she passed away in 2011. The company describe the fragrance as a "memoir steeped in Mona di Orio’s love for the Mediterranean". Fans of the older fragrances of the collection (Lux, Carnation, Nuit Noire, Amyitis, Jabu, Oiro and Chamarre) will be pleased to learn that the company has plans to relaunch them "step by step" from 2014.
Eau Absolue Notes include Sicilian bergamot, clementine and Petitgrain Citronnier, Litsea Cubeba from China, Egyptian geranium, vetiver from Java & Haiti, Jamaican St. Thomas Bay Leaf, pink peppercorn from Peru, cedar wood from Virginia, musk and cistus labdanum.
The fragrance will be available as 100 ml Eau de Parfum from April.
