The Vagabond Prince's Zoran Knezevic on their debut fragrance [Video]

Owners of the perfume website ‘Fragrantica’ have launched their first perfume called ‘Enchanted Forest’, created by Bertrand Duchaufour. The company they formed to market the perfume is called Vagabond Prince, which makes reference to Elena and Zoran Knezevic's peripatetic life hitherto.

Zoran told us with delight the inspiration for the perfume.

Bertrand Duchaufour said of the perfume

“Enchanted Forest is the only perfume I know of that is built around blackcurrant as the sole raw material, to such an extent that one can say it is a Cassis!

My inspiration for this perfume was primarily the fruit of blackcurrant itself. My second idea was to directly link the blackcurrant with the odour of a forest. I wanted to work the dark, mysterious, almost scary effects and that which to man, seems almost supernatural in the forest.”

Notes include patchouli, moss, vetiver, castoreum and balsam fir (pine needle absolute). The beautiful artwork on the bottle and box has been drawn by Elena herself.

The perfume is available in Fenwicks in Bond Street in the UK, Lucky Scent in the US and Jovoy in Paris.
