To mark their tenth anniversary, innovative New York perfume house Bond No. 9 have added a new fragrance to their geographically-themed creations, this time only available online: HTTP://WWW.BONDNO9.COM
Based on the premise that the world's most populated neighbourhood is actually ‘the digital village, of course’, the fragrance has been named after the virtual address where it can be found; both the name and the url for the fragrance are identical.
According to Bond no 9: ‘The locals in this village do a lot of sharing - ideas, photos, videos, music. So why not share a scent too, we reasoned? After all, scents, like the Internet, are all about shared spaces.’
The fragrance, said to have ‘like the Internet... a contemporary, mesmerizing appeal that invokes undivided attention’, contains top notes of bergamot, pineapple and juniper berry, a heart of apple, blackcurrant and cedar wood, and a base of patchouli, moss, musk and amber.
The coded blue scanner pattern on the bottle’s neon yellow background is the scent's ‘Quick Response’ code. Scanning it will take you to the fragrance's URL where you can order a 100ml bottle for $250.
