Ineke launches Field notes from Paris and announces Nordic distributor

by Grant Osborne, 13th November, 2009

Field Notes from Paris, the latest fragrance from Ineke, is now available. The fragrance is inspired by Rühland's perfumery studies in Paris and Versailles.

As reported in June, the fragrance is described as a woody oriental. It has top notes of bergamot, lemongrass and coriander seed, followed by tobacco flower (nicotiana alata), black pepper, cedarwood and patchouli. The drydown has notes of amber, tonka bean, vanilla and beeswax.

The company have also recently signed up with Happel to provide distribution in the Nordic region.

To put all "reviewer lingo" aside, this stuff is great from start to finish. An very complex blend on me that is very floral. Very unisex. The presenation bottle is very elegant and theme-oriented. I would definitely sample more scents and considering buying again.
