Atkinsons have announced a richer, stronger version of 2013's 24 Old Bond Street named Triple Extract. The fragrance, inspired by the smoothness and mellowness of "triple distilled" whiskys, was created by Mane's Violaine Colas and Christine Nagel, who also created the original scent.
Triple Extract is the strongest, most precious, full-bodied concentrate of Atkinson's emblematic English Cologne: 24 Old Bond Street, It is a Triple Crown fragrance of astounding perfume pedigree, so devastatingly potent that is is dispensed from a smoked glass apothecary flacon. 24 Old Bond Street Triple Extract is a tri-umph of English elegance and goes to prove that three times is most certainly the charm.
Notes for the fragrance include juniper, cardamom and galbanum in the top; rose absolute, rose Superessence, black tea and green tea in the heart; and a base of peated cask accord, incense, and tonka bean.
The Legendary Collection, featuring The British Bouquet, The Nupital Bouquet, Fashion Decree and The Odd Fellow's Bouquet.
The Home Collection, featuring The Isle of White Bouquet candle, The Mayfair Bouquet candle and The Hyde Park Bouquet candle.
Atkinson's has a long history. Founded in 1799 by James Atkinson, and later joined by his brother Edward, the company served royalty and high society. In 1832 the company opened its flagship store at 24 Old Bond Street (presently occupied by Salvatore Ferragamo).
In the early 1900's the company was acquired by Lever Brothers (now Unilever). Fragrances introduced in this time include the likes of Hunter, Rockford and Bizarre. The I Coloniali bath and spa range was introduced in 1993.
2007, where it was picked up by Morris Profumi (now Perfume Holding)
24 Old Bond Street Triple Extract will be available exclusively from Selfridges in September as 50ml and 100ml Eau de Cologne Concentrée.
