by Grant Osborne, 10th January, 2010

Reality TV star, Kim Kardashian is launching her debut fragrance at Sephora with a revealing advertising campaign. The scent was developed by Lighthouse Beauty who were also behind the Power by 50 Cent fragrance. Lighthouse Beauty describe the fragrance as:" voluptuous, sensual and beautiful as Kim herself."

The fragrance, created by Claude Dir of Givaudan, contains notes of jasmine, tuberose, gardenia, tonka bean, jacaranda wood and sandalwood

"Collaborating with Lighthouse Beauty was a really creative, innovative process. What’s so different about their approach is that they have worked so closely with me on all aspects of my fragrance, the bottle, the juice - so I can develop a product that truly represents me and speaks to my fans - the fragrance really captures who I am.", Kardashian told WWD last year.

Kim Kardashian (the scent) is available in two shades of pink and will be at Sephora exclusively for three months. The fragrance is available in 1 oz. For $32, 1.7 oz for $45, 3.4 oz for $65, and 1/3oz roller ball for $16.

I smelt this in a magazine and was pleasantly surprised by how lovely it smelt. Maybe Guerlain should recruit her for product development, it could only be a win situation.

I caught a whiff of it in a magazine as well--and was also impressed. Who'd have thunk it?
