Bond no.9 give their house cab a Brooklyn inspired makeover

by Danielle Cooper, 29th March, 2009

The distinctive cream coloured cab that Bond no.9 founder Laurice Rahme uses to promote the brand around town, has been given a new look for this month's Brooklyn Launch.

The Bondmobile can now be seen emblazoned with the street art inspired designs shown on the Brooklyn bottle.  The instantly recognisable car has a selection of Bond fragrances in the back for passengers to sample and the friendly Gerald at the wheel to impart local wisdom as you are trying out the neighbourhoods in an olfactory sense.

Look out for the Bondmobile when Laurice makes public appearances around New York City, the latest of which is due on Saturday 14th at Saks.  Read our previous coverage of this event for more details.

Why aren't they using the iconic New York cab? Looks like a London one

Anyway -- it all looks a bit naff to me

      It's kind of ugly IMO.

This is also an article from about 7 years ago, which for some reason didn't have a comment thread attached to it and the system decided to magically create one today. Whoops!
