Murdock launch Renshaw fragrance inspired by the world of tennis

02nd July, 2014

Men's grooming range Murdock has added Renshaw to its collection of men's colognes. The fragrance takes its name from tennis player, William Renshaw and the scent is inspired by tennis and British lawn sports.

Taking its cue from gentleman tennis player Mr William Renshaw, the most successful Wimbledon champion of the amateur era, this light cologne is a celebration of the style and elegance of British lawn sports.

Combining top and middle notes of fruit and flowers around a clean and fresh watercress middle, it encapsulates a summer's afternoon sipping Pimms on the lawn after a few relaxed games on the court.

Top notes for the fragrance are Ruby Red Grapefruit and Cold Pressed Sicilian Bergamot; heart notes include Violet, Gardenia, Lily of the Valley, Strawberry, Jasmine Blossom, Green Peppercorn and Watercress; the dry down features Musk and White Woods.

Renshaw is available now at Murdock shops and website.

Thanks for the info Grant, interesting to see a lot of florals in this one. They also have a new one coming out in the Autumn called Arkle, that one will be inspired by Steeple-chasing. lol......makes you wonder what the notes are going to be.

Ha. Same notes as most press releases, I'd imagine.

I find their fragrances very generic, pedestrian, even :(
