IFF's Ropion and Dong create Issey's latest men's fragrance : Nuit d'Issey

23rd June, 2014

IFF's Dominique Ropion and Loc Dong are the perfumers behind Issey Miyake's latest men's fragrance, Nuit d'Issey. The fragrance is housed in a black version of the bottle for the classic scent, L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme.

Nuit d'Issey contains top notes of bergamot and grapefruit; heart notes of leather, spices, woods and vetiver; and the base contains patchouli, incense and tonka bean.

The company say

Bold, free and brave, the Nuit d’Issey man commands admiration. Game for any experience, inclined to rise to challenges, he dives. After his brief getaway, he resurfaces, filled with a natural power to attract… the messenger of this new fragrance.

Nuit d'Issey is available as 125ml Eau de Toilette.

Somewhat unoriginal notes but seems like a good combination. I'd love to try it. Seems more of a brand new scent than yet another useless flanker.

Notes doesn't sound very interesting but considering IM's previous releases I'll definitely give it a try. Thanks for the info.
