In September Maison Francis Kurkdjian will introduce a new fragrance duo for men and women: masculin Pluriel and féminin Pluriel. Kurkdjian created these scents as a tribute to the classics of men's and women's fragrances – both contain typical ingredients of male or female fragrances:
A beautiful creation composed of a multitide of facets, designed to evolve with freedom and sensuality, unbound from fleeting fashions. A challenge to time and a search for timelessness, the recognisable quality of major classics.
Féminin Pluriel is described as "A grand floral bouquet that unfolds from Florentine Iris to violet, from Grasse rose to Egyptian jasmine, from lily-of-the-valley to orange blossom. It is upheld by the simplicity of chypre accents."
Of masculin Pluriel the company say "A fougère accord, the trademark of major men's classics, set off by the depth of lavender absolute from Provence and a soft leathery accord built on architecture of Eastern red cedar, Indonesian patchouli and vetiver from Haiti.
Both are available from September 2014.
