My Burberry available now, inspired by a London garden after the rain

05th September, 2014

Burberry have launched My Burberry which they say is "the most significant new fragrance from Burberry to date." The fragrance is inspired by a London garden after the rain, and the scent takes its name "from the affectionate way in which people refer to their Burberry trench coat."

The fragrance was created by Burberry's Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer, Christopher Bailey who worked with perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, who comments:

“We have created a beautifully crafted grand floral unique to Burberry - the perfect accompaniment to the Burberry trench”.

The My Burberry campaign featuring British fashion icons Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne, shot by photographer Mario Testino. In addition to the fragrance, a capsule collection of My Burberry ready-to-wear pieces and accessories, as well as a dedicated make-up look created around the iconic trench coat, will be released to coincide with the launch, continuing to demonstrate the brand’s unique ability to bring together the worlds of fashion and beauty.

My Burberry contains top notes of sweet pea and bergamot; a heart of geranium, golden quince and freesia, with base notes of rain-tipped damask and centifolia roses and patchouli.

The glass bottle and overall design reflect the details of the Burberry trench coat: a bold horn-finish cap echoes its distinctive buttons and the hand-tied knot is English-woven gabardine, honouring the fabric invented by Thomas Burberry over 100 years ago. The bottle is presented in a trench-coloured box. The gold lined interior is embossed with the iconic Burberry check design.

The fragrance is available in the following:
