L'Oreal to take over Puma fragrance license from 2015

L'Oreal have signed a license agreement to create fragrances for sports brand, Puma, which will be effective from 1 January 2015. Puma's existing contract with Procter & Gamble will terminate at the end of 2014.

Puma's first foray into the fragrance world was in 1997 with the launch of Puma Independence in collaboration with Muelhen's, then part of Wella. In 2005 the license was passed to Procter & Gamble in 2005 with P&G's acquisition of Wella.
