Viktoria Minya extend hedonist range

29th March, 2015

Hungarian perfumer Viktoria Minya was showing extensions of her Hedonist range, and her interpretation of Eau de Hongrie at Esxence.

Hedonist Iris

Hedonist Iris is said to represent “eternal elegance” and contains notes of bergamot, pink pepper, blackcurrant, iris, cedarwood, cocoa, labdanum and musk.

Hedonist Rose

Hedonist Rose is described as a “flirty, gorgeous floral composition” and contains notes of lemon, clove, peach, rose, amber, musk, vanilla and ‘a glass of cold wine’ accord

Eau de Hongrie

Eau de Hongrie is Minya’s take on the legendary fragrance of Eau de la Reine de Hongrie – said by some to be the first modern fragrance.

Minya’s version takes its inspiration from the Hungarian wine, Tokaji Aszú, not only for the fragrance, but also the packaging.

Notes include lemon, grapefruit, clove, jasmine, honey, sandalwood, immortelle, labdanum, musk, tonka bean and Tokaji Aszú wine accord.

Lovely perfumes and gorgeous presentation. One of the very promissing brands we will hear about more and more...

Interested in the third one's notes, although I am still very undeveloped in my tastes. And its bottle is so pretty.

Do you ever really get a pure liquor smell from a fragrance? Nest's White Sandalwood, which I tried the other day, smells EXACTLY like tequila to my nose. It's like i'm spraying tequila on my arm.
