Jo Malone relaunch 9 scents for new Regent St Flagship store

Jo Malone have opened a flagship store on London’s Regent Street and have brought back 9 fragrances from their archives which will be exclusive to the new store.

The archive collection includes:

Assam & Grapefruit

Assam & Grapefruit was created in 2011 by perfumer Christine Nagel as part of Jo Malone’s Tea Collection

Invigorating and upbeat, Assam & Grapefruit captures the qualities of that first cup of morning tea.Refreshing grapefruit and herbaceous Assam are blended with undertones of warm patchouli, spicy cardamom and almond.

Black Cedarwood & Juniper

Black Cedarwood & Juniper is also by Nagel, and was part of the London Rain Collection launched in 2014

Midnight rain. Seductive with the carnal touch of cumin, chilli leaves, and aromatic juniper. Dark with cedarwood. Humid with moss. Modern and urban.

Elderflower & Gooseberry

Originally launched in 2013 as part of The Sugar & Spice collection. Elderflower & Gooseberry was also created by Nagel

A voluptuous gooseberry fool. Crushed, summer-green gooseberries, juicy with lychee, enfolded into the soft delicacy of elderflower. Tender and feminine.

Ginger Biscuit

Christine Nagel’s Ginger Biscuit was also part of the Sugar & Spice Collection.

Just-baked biscuit. Spiced with ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon, melting into caramel. Butter-crumbly with roasted hazelnuts. Warmed by tonka bean and vanilla. Irresistible.

Iris & Lady Moore

Iris & Lady Moore was originally part of 2012’s London Blooms Collection.

A fascinating mingling of spicy-fresh, common-or-garden geranium and noble iris, powdery and poised. Two characterful purple florals, rustling above an elegant dry-grass bed of vetiver.

Peony & Moss

Peony & Moss was originally part of the London Blooms Collection from 2012.

A contrast of the dainty and the dirty. Delicate peony, clad in the moist earthiness of moss. Laced with cordial- intense cassis. Encircled with ivy. A fragrance of gossamer lightness, grounded in rich verdancy.

Sweet Lemon

Originally launched in 2011 as part of the Limited edtion Tea Collection. Sweet Lemon was created by perfumer, Christine Nagel

The mouth-watering tang of lemon tart. Sparkling with citrus fruits and verbena, contrasted with swirls of meringue and lemon thyme. Refreshing.

White Lilac & Rhubarb

White Lilac & Rhubarb is from 2012’s London Blooms Collection

A celebration of seductive contrasts beloved by modern gardeners. Tart-vibrant rhubarb cuts through delicate florals. The softness of lilac. The femininity of rose. And the almond scent of sun-loving heliotrope.

Vintage Gardenia

Vintage Gardenia was previously known as Vintage Gardenia with Cardamom & Myrrh, and was launched in 2004.

A homage to classic white flowers. Gardenia and hyacinth tantalise against a rich backdrop of cardamom, sandalwood and myrrh. Bold and bewitching.
