Classic fragrance, Tosca, is given a packaging update

Maurer + Wirtz have updated the packaging for the classic Tosca fragrance. Tosca was launched in 1921 by Muelhens (of 4711 fame), and was acquired by Maurer + Wirtz as part of its acquisition of 4711 from Procter & Gamble in 2006.

Maurer + Wirtz say of Tosca:

Fragrance history was written in 1921: Newly-discovered aldehydes allowed perfumers to create multi-faceted, sophisticated ladies’ fragrances which would become icons of classical femininity. Tosca is one of Germany’s most successful ladies’ fragrances from this era, and its style still beguiles to this day. Its unique recipe remains unchanged, but its design has been updated for 2015. Following its facelift, its packaging focuses the Tosca look even more on everything that the perfume stands for: timeless, feminine elegance.

Tosca still features the blue and gold used previously, and is now a drop-shaped bottle.

Notes for the fragrance include bergamot, lemon, neroli, orange, aldehyde, rose, jasmine, lily of the valley, ylang-ylang, narcissus, patchouli, vanilla, amber and labdanum.

Tosca is available as Eau de Cologne (in splash, spray and aerosol forms 25ml – 50ml), Deodorant Aerosol Spray, Body powder , Perfumed soap, Shower Gel and Vanishing cream.
