Dunhill's newest scent is Century

13th July, 2018

Carlos Benaim has created the latest men's fragrance for Dunhill: Century. Benaim has previously created Icon and Desire Silver for the brand.

Notes for the fragrance include bergamot, grapefruit and mandarin in the head; neroli, cardamom and olibanum feature in the heart; and the base contains sandalwood, musk and cypriol.

The creation of the scent was overseen by Walter Johnsen at Inter Parfums. Johnsen, who has worked in the industry for over 30 years, is no stranger to Dunhill fragrances. He had previously worked at Cosmopolitan Cosmetics and worked on the launches for Desire and Desire Blue.

The company say:

A fresh new signature fragrance from dunhill.
Embracing the future. A new moment of clarity.
The interplay of shape, clear glass, liquid and light. Reflections through concave and convex shapes.
Refreshing top notes of bergamot, grapefruit and mandarin. A base of sandalwood, warming olibanum and fragrant neroli.

Make your mark on the future.

The face of the fragrance is muscian and model, George Barnett. The advertising promo was directed by Tarik Malak & Timothy Douglas.

Century is available now exclusively at Harrods, with a wider launch planned for August. The scent is available as 75ml and 125ml Eau de Parfum.

I liked the last one he created for Ralph Lauren, but this looks a bit of a generic freshy
