Ormonde Jayne launches Ta'if Extreme

23rd July, 2018

Ta’if Extreme is the latest fragrance by Ormonde Jayne, which has been "made to cut through extreme heat, with its elegance and composition intact."

The company say:

In extreme hot weather, Ormonde Jayne’s founder & perfumer Linda Pilkington recommends spraying Ta’if directly onto your skin after a shower when your heart rate and blood flow is slightly higher.  For a long lasting effect, spraying your hairbrush with perfume just before you brush will create a lingering scent.

Notes for the fragrance include pink pepper, saffron and dates in the head; rose oil, freesia, orange flower absolute and jasmine feature in the heart; and the base contains broom and amber.

Ta’if Extreme is available now at Fortnum & Masons in the UK.

If the rose oil is Taif rose, this should be interesting.

Didn't OJ already come in parfum concentration?

But from the description this actually seems to be the opposite, ie an eau de toilette with strengthened fresh top notes for the heat. (note in fact how she talks about spraying hair for longevity).

This might be something my daughter or granddaughter might like.
