Trussardi launches motorcycle inspired collector's version of Riflesso

16th August, 2018

Trussardi have launched a limited edition version of its 2017 masculine fragrance, Riflesso. The new Collector's Edition, called Streets of Milano, is inspired by the iconic MV Augusta Brutale 800 motorcycle.

Riflesso Streets of Milano

The scent is the same as Riflesso, created by Veronique Nyberg but with different packaging.

The fragrance features top notes of bergamot, pink grapefruit and green apple; heart notes include geranium, violet leaves and lavender flowers; and italian leather, vetiver essence and tonka bean feature in the base notes.

The company say:

Trussardi Riflesso represents the soul of a man with a scale of values built on tradition, family, work, and quality. He has a sophisticated sense that gives him a relaxed elegance with a natural attitude. Streets of Milano pays tribute to his passion for motorcycles and for a city that is recognised worldwide for its fast paced fashion, elegance, and modernity.

Riflesso Streets of Milano is available from 1st September as 100ml Eau de Toilette.

This looks like it may be interesting.

Have always wanted to try the original. With this handsome limited edition bottle, Iíll be doubly upset if the juice doesnít at least match its looks.

The concept of Riflesso is interesting. Creating a fragrance from the smells of a leather jacket, machine oil, rubber and gasoline would be something worth smelling. Add a touch of floral and maybe some tonka for sweetness and you've got a winner. I'd love to see an interpretation similar to Imaginary Authors' The Cobra and the Canary.

Alas, it appears this is not what Trussardi is doing. Based purely on the notes, this is going to be another fresh-ambery installment.
