Byredo open London flagship store

17th September, 2018

Byredo has opened its second store, and its first store in Europe at 42 Lexington Street, London .

The 200 square metres retail store is spread over two floors and will showcase Byredo’s range of products, which as well as fragrance and beauty, also features leather goods and eyewear.

The historic post-Georgian building erected in 1885 was remodelled by Byredo founder Ben Gorham and Swedish architectural and design studio Halleröd. The design is an evolution of the brand’s New York store and consists of materials such as aluminium, terrazzo, plaster, glass blocks and a selection of woodwork in oak, American walnut and alder.

“I always imagined BYREDO would have a store in London, you could say this project is ten years in the making.” said Gorham.

Looks minimalist and a bit antiseptic, but makes sense it is near Liberty

I'll be visiting soon -- thanks
