Les Parfums de Rosine create new collection: Les Extravagants

by Judith Brockless, 18th February, 2019

Les Parfums de Rosine has created a new unisex fragrance collection for 2019: Les Extravagants.

Housed in glossy, brightly-coloured bottles, the aim of the range is to “rely on the olfactory characteristics of the natural scent of roses and push them to the extreme to offer an unbounded, honest and comprehensive olfactory experience”.

Bois Fuchsia elucidates the crushed raspberry fruity explosion of the French rose ‘Rosa Gallica’, the famous rose used for preserves!

Created by Michel Almairac, Bois Fuchsia is a woody, fruity, rose fragrance, which contains top notes of blackcurrant and iris, a heart of raspberry, rose and lychee, with a base of patchouli, musk and sandalwood.

Eloge du Vert’s note is very … green! A note expressing a striking floral facet of the ‘Rosa Muscosa’. Indeed, green fragrance emerges from this moss rose when its petals and sepals are crushed between our fingers.

Eloge du Vert was created by Delphine Lebeau and has notes of rose, green pepper and ginger, on a base of patchouli and cedar.

Vanille Paradoxe exudes an aromatic note expressing ‘Bourbon Roses’, roses used to hedge vanilla fields on Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean.

Another fragrance by Delphine Lebeau, Vanille Paradoxe opens with a combination of juniper, rosemary and grapefruit, followed by a heart of rose, angelica, cardamom and cedar, and a base of vanilla, musk and ambroxan.

Bleu Abysse is a perfume of contrasting sensations: a deep, yet dry, marine-blue note. Inspired by the French rose, ‘Rosa Moschata’, Bleu Abysse is a fresh fusion fragrance.

Serge de Oliveira was the perfumer for Bleu Abysse. It opens with bergamot, elemi and blackcurrant, moving on to rose combined with a mineral accord in the heart, on a base of oud, patchouli, vetiver, incense and seaweed.

This collection retails at 145 Euros for 100 ml.
