Ferragamo launch limited edition parfum version of Bianco di Carrara

14th May, 2019

Salvatore Ferragamo are launching a parfum version of Bianca di Carrara as a limited edition housed in a bottle capped with real Carrara Marble.

The fragrance was originally part of the brand’s now discontinued Tuscan Soul line, launched in 2013 as an Eau de Toilette; and was relaunched as an Eau de Parfum recently as part of the Tuscan Creations line.

The new Parfum was created by perfumer, Alexandra Carlin. Who also created the recent Eau de Parfum.

The company say,

In Carrara, close to the shore of the Tyrrhenian sea, the purest and most beautiful white marble has been quarried and turned into pieces of art for more than two thousand years. Michelangelo chose the marble blocks to create his masterpieces: The David and The Pietà here.
Inspired by the rarity and beauty of this material, and true to its longstanding artisanal tradition, today Salvatore Ferragamo celebrates the very essence of this noble stone with Bianco di Carrara Parfum limited edition – 368 exclusive numbered flacons, a number recalling the patents that Salvatore Ferragamo registered in various fields during his lifetime.

The top notes of juniper berries, black pepper, ambrette seeds lead into a heart of powdery violet, noble orris and soft heliotrope. The base features a velvet-leather accord, white oud and cashmere wood.

Bianco di Carrara is available from May 2019 as 100ml Parfum. The scent is limited to 368 numbered bottles, 50 of which (numbered 2 — 51) are available at Harrods in the UK for £395.
