Buxton creates Laguna Maravilla for Dali

by Grant Osborne, 16th June, 2010

Salvador Dali have launched Laguna Maravilla, a follow up to Laguna, launched in 1991. Like the original, this was created by perfumer, Mark Buxton and the scent is featured in the same bottle design.

According to Salvador Dali, Laguna Maravilla expresses the spirit and originality that made Laguna such a success, while asserting its personality through its own distinctive qualities.

The fragrance is described as a citrus, floral, woody. The top note is structured around Spanish verbena and a citrus trio: Italian lemon, Sicilian bergamot and Calabrian mandarin. The heart contains lily of the valley, Egyptian rose, water jasmine, and cyclamen. Madagascan sandalwood, musk, amber, while vanilla from Reunion Island create the dry down.

Available as Eau de Parfum (50ml, 100ml) and Eau de Toilette (30ml, 50ml, 100ml)

Laguna was the best of the Salvadore Dali collection ... and Buxton is a great perfumer - this does sound very promising! Must try asap!
