Katy Perry launches debut fragrance, Purr

Singer, Katy Perry has launched her debut fragrance, Purr. In the US it is available exclusively at Nordstrom's until February, while in the UK it launched at Selfridges. Purr was created by perfumers at Firmenich, and the license-holder is Gigantic Parfums, which was founded by ex-Parlux CEO Ilia Lekach.

The fragrance consists of peach nectar and apple, a floral bouquet of jasmine blossom, Bulgarian rose and vanilla orchid, and reveals accents of creamy sandalwood and musk.

Purr is available in eau de parfum will retail for: $45/40 for 50ml (1.7 fl oz.) and $65/58 for 100ml (3.4 fl oz.).

      Smelt it at work the other day, smells like a Victoria Secret Body Spray. Light and sweet, with a touch of floral. I can tell it will be a big hit with the mass market....And that isn't accounting for taste.
