Citrine - latest from Olivier Durbano | News from Pitti Fragranze

by Grant Osborne, 10th September, 2011

Olivier Durbano’s latest gem is Citrine. Citrine is a variety of Quartz, whose yellow colour comes from small amounts of iron oxides in the metal. According to South American shamans, the citrine has the power to consume Man’s limits, to diffuse his most profound fears and dissipate all negative energies through its inner fire and glowing celestial energy.

Durbano’s Citrine fragrance is described as an amber wooded spicy scent and contains top notes of lemon, orange, elemi incense, ginger and pink pepper; heart notes of carrot seeds, mimosa, rosewood and lignum vitae; the dry down features musk, myrrh, grey amber and beeswax.
