by Grant Osborne, 28th September, 2011

Canadian singer, Avril Lavigne has launched her latest fragrance, Wild Rose. The fragrance is described as "a luminous fusion of sun-kissed yellow fruits, dewy florals and sweet woody notes that embody a vibrant and feminine spirit"

The fragrance, developed by P&G Prestige, contains notes of mandarin, grapefruit and red plum in the top; frangipani, blue orchid and orange blossom in the heart; and a base of sandalwood and a crème brulee accord.

Shot by Naomi Kaltman, the print campaign "reveals an alluring and sophisticated Avril" (right) and features the tagline “Dare to Discover More.”

The Wild Rose TV campaign was created in Los Angeles, California and was directed and filmed by Dave Meyers. (below)

The fragrance is available as 30ml and 50ml Eau de Parfum. Wild Rose is available now at The Fragrance Shop (UK), Kohls (US) and Douglas (Germany) amongst others.

I sniffed all three of her scents today at Kohls none of them really impressed me .One of them reminded me a bit like smelling a jar of jam not really sure what kind though. Bottles are pretty -they must have spent a lot more for the packaging than the scent.Too bad. A beautiful bottle should complete the experience like fine decor for a nice resteraunt .If price and bottle beauty say it should be at least a three star dining and then you get a sloppy $1 menu cheeseburger and cold fries -grrrr.

The new Kim Kardashian gold was nice though -at least nice enough to skin test.

Anyone else think the print ad is a rehash of Madonna, circa 1985?
