Mandy Aftel launches Haute Claire

Aftelier Perfumes have released Haute Claire (“High and Bright”) a new fragrance hand blended and bottled by artisan perfumer Mandy Aftel. Aftel uses only naturally derived essences and ingredients in her fragrances, and Haute Claire is no exception.

The name Haute Claire is said to be derived from the 12th Century Epic The Song of Roland, Hauteclere being the name of a sword featured in the poem.

The fragrance features a blend of galbanum, Mexican lime, wild sweet orange, ylang ylang and CO2 top notes which meet a honeysuckle absolute, ylang ylang extra and clary sage heart. The base is combination of vetiver, ethyl phenyl acetate, and vanilla absolute.

Haute Claire EDP is available from in a 30ml spray priced at $150, also available are 1ml samples priced at $6
