British fashion and textile company, Laura Ashley is returning to the fragrance market after over ten years. The company have worked with Azzi Glasser and CPL Aromas to create three new Laura Ashley fragrances: Green Meadow, Pink Petals and Floral Heart.

Glasser describes the three new fragrances (left to right):

Pink Petals : "A fresh floral composition which opens with light exotic Water Fruits that are entwined with a sultry pink heart of Rose absolute, Frangipani and Muguet that rest on a creamy woody base of Musk Crystals, Sandalwood and rich Olibanum."

Green Meadow : "Evoking memories of a green meadow with wild flowers, which take flight on a green and white harmony of Birch leaves and Jasmine absolute and develops its lasting fullness with a deep accord of Hot Amber and Skin Musks."

Floral Heart : "A sensual explosion of the finest notes of Violet leaves and Plum which enter the mysterious floral heart of Rose de Mai, Magnolia Bloom, and Tuberose absolute, all caressed by fragant woods and magnetic Animalic Musks."

Each fragrance is available as 50ml and 100ml Eau de Parfum. A gift set of all three fragrances at 30ml is also available.

Here's hoping at least one of these new compositions can at least come close to Laura Ashley's best offerings of the distant past, such as No. 2 or Emma. I'm not holding my breath, but I am quite curious, and a little bit hopeful, at least.

My fav back in the day was No. 1 in its beautiful splash bottle.

I hope they bring this back.
