I've been imagining a fragrance in my mind. I don't really know top notes from basenotes and I am not familiar with most of the exotic ones, but here's what I'm thinking of.
Cognac, lavendar, juniper, black tea, rose, carnation, ylang ylang, sandalwood, rosewood, leather, amber, allspice, black pepper, clove, cocoa, orange.
I invite anyone to suggest which notes are top, middle and basenotes.
After reading all of these notes, it may come as a surprise to hear that I don't particularly like rich scents that are very sweet. And I admit that this collection of notes might need something that would counter any tendency toward cloying sweetness. For reference, my signiture winter scent is Bijan and I was thinking of a slightly sweeter, spicier alternative.
Does my imagined fragrance sound like anything of quality that's already available?
