I regret not going there when were were on our honeymoon in 2004. I just ordered some Paradise for my wife, so I'll try to give a review when I get it.
I don't believe Royall Lyme Bermuda has a shop there.
How long are you going for? Have you been before?
It's one of our favorite spots on earth and have lots of recommendations if you want them.
A good friend of mine wears Lili Bermuda Oleander; I've smelled it on her and it was nice, worth trying. But she regretted getting the edt instead of the parfum and plans to make that up on her next trip the Bermuda.
Was desperately trying to relate to the Bermuda Perfumery, which I've never heard off.
Gave the link a click and then I found that it's actually in the Bermuda itself. Even if Bermuda is a British Overseas Territory..still..probably the wrong board for this topic...lol
^^^It's true. I looked for the appropriate board . But where? :)
There needs to be a board for Atlantic & Caribbean Islands, maybe. I'm sure all sorts of fragrance shopping occurs in these little paradises.
Anyway, mcurtiss, I will be there mid-July for a week. Please pm me any recommendations you have. :dankk2:
You probably already have your answer, but I have ordered online from Lili Bermuda. The perfumery has been around since the 20s or 30s and they are worth trying, if you like feminine florals. I ordered the sample library and liked most of them. The one I'm planning to order is Passion Flower. Will you be going on the factory tour whilst you're there? Have fun!
I just returned from a cruise that stopped in Bermuda and made it a point to go to the mall where I knew they sold the perfumes and colognes. If I had enough time I definitely would have gone back to the Perfumery (was there in late 90's) as that was an experience that I'll never forget, even though I was only a teenager at the time. I picked up a bottle 100 ml of Bermuda Blue mens cologne, that was $39.95 and I believe they also had a 50 ml for $29.95 but that was sold out. I also got a sample set of the mens colognes, that was $25.99 and it came with I believe (8) 2ml vials (can't remember off the top of my head, still haven't unpacked the stuff from the trip). If you have a chance to go to the perfumery definitely go, it is an experience you'll never forget.
I think I may need to order the men's sampler. I have samples of South Water and Somers and need some more before I place the order.
my wife opened up her anniversary gift of "Paradise" EDT this morning and loves it! She immediately said "mm, kinda like Shalimar" which it is. warm vanilla and sandalwood.
check it out near :40 or so
