To me, this smells like the cucumber-based Fahrenheit that I remember from my teenages plus very zesty and zingy citrus notes on top. A good designer choice for spring days, sillage & longevity is quite good for that genre.

After falling in love with Fahrenheit, I started getting into the flankers. Absolute is a great scent, with a little of the original with a smoky herbal vibe. 32, not for me with too much sweet vanilla. Then I tried Aqua a few months ago and liked it, I had been planning to get a bottle before summer. The mild oil/gas note was there, just for a bit. The grapefruit and bitter orange really grabbed me! I thought this would be an amazing summer scent. I scored a sample from Sephora just to make sure that it was for me. I found that the amazing citrus and mild auto garage smell go away rather quickly. The dry down had wisps of grapefruit along with the annoying "aqua" smell that is rampant through modern fragrances. I wanted to love this one, but it just isn't doing it for me. I plan on giving it a couple more tries when the weather warms up though.

This one is a winner. You can wear this anytime of the year. It has the original Fahrenheit DNA but without that gasoline vibe everyone mentions. I catch the grapefruit in this. Very well made. Don't cheat yourself, treat yourself.

This is a good flanker of original Fahrenheit. Fresh and comforting, it does really remembers the original scent but there's no smell of gasoline that many dislike. Good lasting power, sillage and projection. Better than latest "sport" releases. Worth a try at least. Thumbs up!

Pros: Outstanding smell, projection, and longevity. Quality fragrance.

Cons: Comparing it the the original.

I really enjoy Aqua Fahrenheit and it's probably the best summer fragrance I own or have smelled in a long time. The opening is very similar to Dior Homme Sport (vintage), but it's not as harsh. The heart is where it gets interesting as mint and the original Fahrenheit mix together. Love...love this part of the fragrance and it creates a fire and ice effect. The petrol note is there, but it's subtle. The dry down is really a nice mix of everything mentioned above, but the leather is the main player throughout the life of the fragrance. Speaking of the life of the fragrance..this stuff lasts for a long time . I consistently get over 10 hours with the first 4 or 5 hours projecting very welll. I've smelled or at one time owned every version of Fahrenheit. Some of the variations such as Absolute were great, but they just weren't versatile enough to wear over the original. Aqua is the exception to the rule. I love the original, but for me this is superior to the original for summer and overall versatility.

Really fresh and a little bit sweet. It's a very cool fragance to use in the morning and at the office. I would say it's modern but not too flashy.

Never have liked the previous Fahrenheits but this one is airy and soft. Perfect for a beach walk when it's downing. To me AF is the perfect version of Aqua di Gio with Issey Miyake L'eau for men. Soft and pleasant.

This is a total disappointment! I see no reason to make this fragrance market when it counts in the same house with DHS. The brothers Fahrenheit should be ashamed as should feel CD! A fragrance entirely expendable!

Unfortunately this is not my kind of thing, but straight away you can tell that this uses quality ingredients, as is usual for Dior. Beneath the initial hit of violet leaf and grapefruit you get a hint of the original Fahrenheit scent, but it's quite a different take on the original. Definitely more for the over 30's; I would suggest that if you like Dior's Eau Sauvage, you'd like this, it has that same sharp leathery sort of vibe and is more powerful than your usual citrus-y 'aqua' fragrances. Also: The bitter violet leaf and basil middle notes in this seem VERY similar to the violet leaf and basil in dior homme sport when compared side by side. It's almost as if to create these two flankers, Dior have simply bunged a bit of Eau Sauvage into Fahrenheit and into Dior Homme, which would be a bit lazy.....

A good fragrance for spring and summer. In my opinion it's not something unique or new, but also it's not a generic fragrance like so many out there. I believe it's right in the middle! The opening is fresh and sharp grapefruit scent mixed with leather and violet. The sharp and almost bitter smell is because of the basil note which is in the opening and fades away in the drydown. When I say leather I don't mean LEATHER!!!! Just leather! very smooth and light in the background to give the opening a little more character. The violet note also is noticeable but again it's in the background. In the mid the grapefruit smell settle down and leather become stronger. this is where you will find out its not something very light and transparent to over spray it like crazy! so watch out! In the base the leather note start to decay and interesting thing is, the grapefruit is still there with violet and slight amount of sweetness. Just easy with the sprayer in the high heat because of the leather note in the mid. Above average projection and longevity on my skin. I get around 5-6 hours which is OK by me :)
