The new Axe Apollo is quite nice. Its a mix of citrus, sage and sandlewood with a creamy powdery finish. Its light compared to the heavy overpowering scents that used to come out of this line. It is very much like their other offering, Anarchy. The difference is they substituted the vanilla in Anarchy for the orange in Apollo. Of the two Apollo is much better.

This is very, very similar to Platinum Egoiste by Chanel, but at only a fraction of the price. Unfortunately it has now been discontinued in the UK for a number of years; but can still be found if you look hard enough. Defintely worth a try if you get the opportunity to do so.

Safe, uncomplicated mass-market ozonic-watery in a clean and easygoing style. This one would be much more liked by me if, aside from being mass-market, would not smell like most 16-18 year old male ( and not just male ) teens would smell- to be more precise, if it were less sweet, soft and generic.

I just tried a tester of 212 Men, and the first thing I thought of was: grass! Axe Apollo! So I surfed here and see in the left frame that both 212 Men as well as Axe Apollo are created by Ann Gottlieb.

So yeah, Axe Apollo is the poor man's 212 Men. :)
