The pepper in Bang doesn't smell like black pepper. It has a peppery aspect to it, but I think a lot of reviews on this are deceiving. What does it smell like to me? A medicinal note combined with cedar and turpentine combined with a black licorice and benzoin. Not a big fan of the opening, but the dry down was rather nice. During the dry down stage it becomes more mellow and pleasant. Longevity and projection are a bit below average and this becomes a skin scent. Can't give it a thumbs up because the opening is pretty nasty and it's doesn't last as long as it should.

Pepper scented fragrance. On my skin, this lasts about 6 hours. Be careful when placing the bottle down. It may fall over. Then you may have to buy another one.....Yeah right! But seriously, if you love pepper, this is the one for you.

Don't believe it when people say its a huge dose of pepper, its not at all in my opinion. It's a really nice and simple and masculine blend of some pepper, vetiver and spicy woods. Super masculine and spicy fragrance, actually quite soft. I got it for a VERY good price so I cant say anything bad about it. OH it's also a sleeper. BAM.

This is just the one I have been looking for. I love the pepper notes in several colognes out there, so when I read the notes on this one, I knew that I had to get it. I love the initial pepper blast, which settles down just a bit and blends nicely with the vetiver and woods. I am still experimenting with how much to use. Two sprays just doesn't seem to last long enough, but I don't want to overdo this one. Three may be the magic number. Even though it has settled close to my skin, I will get a nice spicy pepper whiff now and then that just makes me smile. Maybe a little one dimensional, but it's a dimension that I love!

I LIKE IT! Man this stuff smells great! It dies down a little too soon for me (I'll have to time it and edit in how long it acutally lasts) unless I go overboard up front, but, Wow! Now if only I could get others to respond the same way. I usually get a bemused variation of, "Hmm, that's interesting." I guess this fragrance is for those days when I'm on my own. I actually like that Bang doesn't start smelling like something else after a while - I guess you call that being linear? As to the bottle design, I keep it in it's original box and - taDAH - it doesn't fall over!

Get ready for the pepper..!! If you like the scent of Black Pepper with outdoors "woodsy" finishing notes, this fragrance is for you. It is definitely unique... I am not a huge fan of the spicy woodsy type of fragrances, but Sweetie tends to gravitate towards these - and for some reason, my collection of these seems to be growing..!! The bottle is uniquely designed and is definitely a conversation piece. The longevity is below average and the projection/sillage is about average. While I have not received any compliments, again, Sweetie does like the fragrance - and that is good enough for me. It would be hard to pinpoint the exact time and occasion for Bang, but I guessing it would be more of a fall/winter type of fragrance that is popular at night. For the avid collector, pick it up based on the uniqueness of the fragrance and the bottle design. All things considered, I give Bang 3.7 stars out of 5. I am not a fan, but am a collector. Enthusiasm moves the world...

A big dose of pepper and woods with what smells like Frankincense. It is a masculine and very straightforward scent with no hidden extras, pepper and woods all the way. If I switch off my analytical brain and go by the smell I do like this as its straightforward and what you smell is what you get through its duration. Perfect if you are looking for a casual masculine scent with no frills just pepper and woods.

Best pepper layering fragrance out there, not to mention it's decent lasting wear! Great by itself or over something else! Oh Marc, I never thought I would be one to say that I would love to have a Frankincense.. scent. And the first time I tried it on I was back in catholic church with the guy going up and down the isle with that intricately decorated ball and chain. This scent is so edgy and bold, I've layered it with my Thierry Mug. Pure Shot and got a wow out of that one.. that combo was incredibly invigorating. I don't see it much around in the stores as much, which is very sad. Cause you can kill through a bottle of this stuff easily if you find some pepper-deprived EDT's or colognes. It'll really help give your favorite fragrance a kick in the ass. But.. in a badass way, ya know?
