This is quite a unique frag and I think its strength lies in its smoothness... so very smooth... which makes for an elegance all its own. It took me quite some time to determine what I thought of this for myself (a woman), and ultimately with repeated wearings I determined that the ginger and tobacco notes became singularly prevalent on me, a combination which was not to my personal taste, although I generally like tobacco and leather scents. I'm giving this a neutral as I think people who appreciate ginger could have an interesting journey with this one.

A little powdery but not bad. This is one of those frags that I couldn't see myself wearing two days consecutively. I think they could have done a little better on this one.

To me this is quit similar to the original Blv, one of the first scents I bought when I started of in the wonderfull world of scents. The blues smell like nothing else and it's a very agreeable scent. Thought it was the ginger I was smelling but I have sampled some ginger scents but I do not get the same vibe. Anyway, the lifespan of this scent is rather limited but reapply and the fun starts allover. For me a definite keeper.

Its resemblance with BLV pour homme was a bit disappointing, but I got rid of it and kept Blv Notte, which was the best thing I did in order to find out about the differences between these two fragrances. Blv is moch stronger and the chocolate (quite perceivable) makes a difference here. It's also quite a versatile fragrance. I wear it in the office and also for a night out. It's very unique I dare say and attracts a lot of compliment from everyone.

BLV Notte is virtually the same as the original BLV for men. The only big difference is that it's a little less loud and powdery. The original BLV has a loud ginger note in the opening, while Notte may have it, it's much more subdued and blended with the other notes. BLV Notte, is extremely smooth, and very hard to categorize. It's floral, aquatic, fresh, oriental, and a little spicy. Those who may not like powdery fragrance, but want something powdery in their arsenal, this is the way to go. A must try for any fragrance lover out there. A complex masterpiece, and one the biggest compliment getters I own. Other notes: Longevity is above average. Projection is great for the first 2 hours, then it dies down.

Powdery aquariental-gourmand? I don't even know. I'm surprised I like this. Bulgari? Best-seller? Popular? But it's actually pretty good... Maybe the world will end in 2012...

I prefer this one on the original Blv Pour Homme. It's a woody-spicy oriental that has the same backbone of the old brother (citrus-ginger-tobacco) but with the hint of chocolate and with a more stressed presence of spices. This one is more complex and dark than the original. The chocolate presence understates a bit the soapy-bath foam effect of the accord ginger-tobacco and exalts a touch of taste. This is a touch less powdery of BPH but the tasty elements cut down a bit the soapy-toilette effect. The galanga is still present and impresses a bit of structure. Not bad but not a masterpiece.

Very, very gentle fragrance. Apart from the actual sweetnesss of this, on the whole I find little resemblance between this and the original Blv! Both have a 'ginger' aspect to their sweetness, but here in Blv Notte, the sweetness is ramped up a notch by the addition of a chocolate accord that seems completely out of place in a masculine Bvlgari fragrance. I do like this but can only give it a sideways thumb. Longevity & sillage are only average (in line with most other masculine Bvlgarii scents).

This is the kind of fragrance that just grows on you. I was neutral for it at first, now all I can say I love it.
This is a darker version of his old brother BLV pour Homme. It is futuristic, it has depth, it stands out and smells awesome.
