Burberry for Men wasn't really on my radar, but I liked Brit and London, and someone was selling a new bottle of this at a dirt cheap price ($7 for an unopened, 1.7 oz bottle), so I bought it blind. Due to the price, I don't regret the purchase, but there's nothing about Burberry for Men that stands out. Fruity to start...faded fast...disappeared after a couple hours. What I liked about it, was another couple hours after it disappeared, it returned: clean and sweet and close to the skin. I'm a teacher, and I could see this being okay for school. But there's that word again--okay. Decent. I like it...but I don't love it.

Burberry...just Burberry! An excellent, classic "thinking man's" fragrance. Apple, orange, lavendar, and a mild tea note all pervade. I tend to dislike "fruity" fragrances, but this one is unmistakably masculine. It may be linear and fleeting. It has only a fair longevity and sometimes projects more of a vanilla note at the end, but it is a great stand-by that should be respected.

Burberry is a pleasant and practical EDT for me. On my skin, the wood notes pop out - and there is that touch of executive sweetness...which is probably owed to the base notes. While Vanilla is listed in the pyramid, I get much more of a 'berry' tinge. I have no problem wearing this one anywhere. It's masculine, and clean. I have smelled a few like it - and most were made afterward. Chopard Noble Vetiver is most certainly one of them.

If You look deeper into this fragrance and smell decent amount of other ones, it will appear single dimensional, constructed from a low quality parts and it is noticeable before i even get the "scent story" it self. That does not makes me want to be a snob, just makes me sad. Plus it is very nineties, which could of being awesome, but combined with the poor execution makes it miles short of being iconic or even classic. It is not exiting in any way, not well done at all, how ever i will always have the bottle of Burberry's, Burberry London, Burberry Classic or Burberry for Men, rename it how ever. Sentimental value! You see how scent is indeed very personal matter.

Simple, apple, sweaty. Non threatening, boring. And I really wanted to like this. All the Old Spice body sprays smell better than this. Cheap, but not cheap enough. I will try it again in several months and see if I'm missing something....

Warm, Debonair, Engaging. I think that sums it up. My first Burberry purchase was Brit (and at the risk of committing blasphemy) I really can't stand the stuff. Just before Christmas I was shopping, went for some Dior and whilst the checkout girl did her thing, I noticed this on special offer. I put the sprayer up to my nose and thought "hmmm, that's nice". I very nearly bought it but stuck to my guns and got the Dior instead. I went back today and acquired it for myself. The Lavender reminds me of Lagerfelds Photo and the Mint gives it a sporty feel but in just the right style. The woods provide a comforting, smooth base that harmonises perfectly with the symphony around it. Everything about this fragrance is balanced to perfection. Not one for the younger crowd I'd have to say. Maybe 25+ to pull this off with conviction. Notes from Burberry site: Top: bergamot, lavender, fresh mint and thyme. Heart: moss, geranium and sandalwood. Base: amber and cedar wood.

A very very nice fragrance, I find it very masculine and very unique, good for special occasions, smells different from any other fragrance out there. Definitely in my top 10

Elegant and casual at the same time. Whole year rounder if you ask me. Serious and tad bit conservative, yet not stiff or stuck up. It is fresh but in a light or to say lithe manner. Mild tea note is present, but just a bit, nicely spiced up with a hint of wood too. This one deserves more attention in general and should be talked about more.

Perfect for night wear, weddings, dates, and more sophisticated outings. But also, if you only use one spray, is great for a trip to the mall. I get a lot of the Marigold and Green apple at top, mostly mint through the mids and it floats down very softly to a jasmine vanilla. Definitely for the 25 - 45 crowd in my opinion. It definitely reminds me of the '90s, but then again a lot of those scents reminded others of the '60s... which makes perfect sense here. Other than London, it is my absolute favorite from Burberry, and can be worn in almost all seasons.
