Cotton candy and spices. Not bad, just nothing to stand out. I think a man could get away with wearing this, it seems more gourmand than floral.

Cotton candy and marshmallow fluff vanilla with baby powder on top. There's a bit of what smells like tobacco leaf to me, but I can see how it could be an almond-ish heliotrope. There's a slug of pink pepper and fruit-chouli also, meaning that this basically smells like the uninspired drydown of hundreds of common-smelling mainstream designer perfumes. To be more specific, drying down to this particular combination of candy, fruit-chouli, and pink pepper IS the olfactory definition of uninspired and common-smelling. While it leaves me unimpressed, I should be fair and say that many ladies will likely find this comforting and enjoyable. I'm assuming this exists to appeal to a very specific demographic: Someone who wants that little burst of self-confidence that comes from knowing you're wearing an expensive Italian perfume, but who still wants to smell like every other lady in the office.

The opening has a lovely Mediterranean vibe of lemon & herbs, quickly joined by rose, jasmine & heliotrope. Heliotrope is listed as a note on the Luckyscent site, & to my nose it definitely takes centre stage in the mid-phase of this fragrance. And along with a sweet, almondy vanilla, it gives the impression of a moist cherry cake. After 90 minutes, the sandalwood & ambery notes come through, & it all settles into a warm, sweet, slightly spicy jasmine-amber base, fading out at around three hours. This is a really lovely fragrance; l just wish it lasted longer for the price.
