very affordable and very pleasing. not at all sexy but more of a comfort/casual scent. great fruity notes pineapple/papaya combined with base notes of musk to give it some longevity. very excellent choice for summer/spring. very safe and reliable..

Calving Klein's "CK One" is a great unisex fragrance at a great cost... CK One a clean and fresh fragrance with a mild floral basenotes. There are similar fragrances out there, but One is masculine enough that men can freely wear... My reviews generally consider the following areas that are important to me: appeal and uniqueness of the scent (i.e. easy on the nose); "wow factor" (compliments), projection/sillage, longevity, appropriate season and event for fragrance; quality and/or uniqueness of bottle and packaging (i.e. easy on the eyes); and, the price/value of fragrance. While not totally inclusive, my evaluation of CK One is as follows (scoring is out of 5 stars 1 star is low, 3 is average, and 5 stars is best): Appeal/Uniqueness of Scent: 4 Wow Factor: 4 Projection: 4 Longevity: 4 Appropriate season/event for fragrance: 4 Quality/design of bottle and packaging: 5 Price/Value: 5 Total Points: 30 points Average Score: 4.18 stars Comments:The real beauty of CK One is the flexibility or versatility. It works for everyone for any occasion without being overbearing. I give CK One 4.18 stars, out of 5.It is under-rated in the cologne arena, a great value, and I definitely recommend adding it to your collection.

Once upon a time (the mid 90s) there was a bottle of CK One in a siblings' room in a country where import was limited. In a wast array of aldehide-Old-Spice-smelling-Brut-harsh-sickly-sweet-Italian-vanilla fragrances this was considered a gem. It was youthful, hard-to-get, smelled good right away and perfect for 99% of occasions. I remember my teenage cousins in the mid 90s, listening to Aerosmith, watching MTV and wearing CK One. As a little boy, I remembered the fresh zest and sweet comfort of CK One. It was modern, accessible and i wanted to grow up quickly to buy myself a bottle. Then 15 years went by and I moved from a small town to the city. I remember walking in a shoe store ad the sales assistant's scent drew me to her. I instantly remembered the scent. Total flashback! CK One with all it's glory. I went straight to the nearest fragrance shop, tried it on and felt great. This is a great work scent, for working with people (doctors, nurses...). It' fresh, so it inspires you to think and sweet, so it calms down the clients, patients... I love to wear this to work and you can easily share it with your wife.

I cannot fathom a reason why anyone would want to wear this. Brings to mind washing detergent sitting on tea-stained clothes. Now I can understand that when it first came out it caused a stir for it's unisex intentions but it doesn't make it good.

Another frag I used back in high school/college and is part of my past and not my present. Excellent smell, but overly popular now.

I regret to upset the other noses who adore this scent, but I must tell you I consider CK One the beginning of the end of late 20th century scent. In 1994 it ushered in a tidal wave of same-same-same smelling scents, male and female. OMG and we haven't recovered yet, but as my mother used to say: "All good things come to an end".
