CK One Summer 2008 by Calvin Klein, 2008

Calvin Klein is very famous for launching every year, different versions of the traditional cK One summer line. However, the difference is that they change the composition of the fragrance from year to year, not just the bottle design, like some other companies do! On Ck One Summer 2008, we have a very pleasant smell. The scent begins with a very nice tone that mixes watermelon and cucumber in a way that seems to be taking a nice juice of these two ingredients in a hot day, while sitting in a place surrounded by mint leaves exuding a discreet aroma in the environment. And so this smell stays on my skin until the end. I did not feel any cardamom as described in the olfactory pyramid. Longevity was about 5 hours.

EXTREMELY refreshing cucumber-melon aquatic. Has a cool minty note and is great for those hot and muggy summer days. Lasts a decent time on my skin; 5-6 hours.

CK One Summer 2008 features a watermelon note and a mint note in the opening as usual, I dont get the cucumber that is listed in the pyramid. Summer 2008 is fresh and clean freshly aquatic and cleanly citrus from the opening through the middle. It has a soft wood drydown. Its an enjoyable fragrance. I think Summer 2008 is similar to the 2006 CK One Summer. The only problem I have with the fragrance is that it doesnt seem to have enough longevity.

The cooling melon accord is the main host of this scent. A casual fragrance that will work well in the warmest of weathers. This is my favorite of the Summer flankers of CK One.

A hint of watermelon and mint. fresh and clean, not-so-sweet fragrance more suitable for young adults.

However this is not a strong perfume so you may need to apply more.

Such a good summer fragrance - this errs a little more on the masculine side than previous ck One summer fragrances; probably due to the increased presence of both woods and musk. The woods and musk are not heavy - in fact, it is very grapefruit heavy - grapefruit heavy frags always work well with my skin chemistry, so I might be a little biased towards my opinion of this frag. Truly a winner for hot climates, I gave this a test-run a few days ago when we hit 90 degrees in Florida, and it held up like a champ. If you live in a warm climate, it'd be very hard to say no to this one.

i enjoy ck one summer versions but if u wanna try sth really good check - "jardin" scents by hermes. that's a really champions leaque. ck one versions smells like nice shampoo. they are good but it's only shampoo scents...

Very good summer fragrance for obvious reasons. Much more grapefruit and more very minty than the previous versions. There's a really awesome and light sweetness in the drydown letting this be enjoyed a little further more than just a fragrance for the summer season. Oh I've often wondered why these summer fragrances are in such huge bottles. Do they expect you to use the whole bottle just to that year? Speaking of, saw the new 2009 in the stores just today and reminded me that I've liked the ck One Summers. Each ck One Summer gets better and better. 2006 was good, 2007 was great, 2008 was even better! Looking forward to 2009.
