Anyone expecting a clove-centered fragrance should resign to the fact this is anything but a clove bomb. In fact, I would classify Clove Absolute as a musk. Think about a civilized version of Muscs Koublai Khan (but very tamed) with rose and incensey undertones laying on a very well balanced resinous vanillic base with clove hints providing a addictive spicy allure. A good fragrance undeservedly flying under the radar. Cozy, comfortable and incredibly soothing.
