Cool Water Pure Pacific by Davidoff, 2012

Tad bit sweeter, yet retaining the character of the original. I usually don't have the tendency to try Cool Water flankers as there are too many of them, thus Cool Water being tastestly overflankered. This however was a pleasant surprise to me to an extent I'm even considering to own it. Longevity and projection are great.

I was really looking forward to this new release, I bought a couple of bottles of last years 'Summer Dive' from duty free to use as a less expensive alternative to GIT for day to day use (it really is quite similar although nowhere near the same quality of course) and with this version sharing the same enjoyable top notes as SD but including more promising mid and base notes I thought I'd be on with a winner. Well, to my nose I really cant detect much of a difference between the two, i've got one on each wrist now and the more they settle the more they morph into the same scent. Oh well, I really like SD so i've got to give it a thumbs up, but if you've already got SD then I wouldnt bother
