Very bright, sparkling, and tart opening. Lemon, lemon, lemon. Sparkling and "fizzy". Lavender is noticeable in the middle; and a shocking twist in the dry down, with leather, suede and cedar being quite noticeable to my nose. The opening is youthful, and "Summer-y", the dry down is mature. Longevity, not the greatest.. 4-5 hours on me. But, for 20-25 bucks at local discounters, it's a good buy. It's different from the rest of the Cool Water flankers that I have tried. It has virtually no Cool Water DNA in it, in my opinion, aside from the lavender in the middle. It's simple yet different. I recommend getting it, if the price is right, and you think you would like the above. Harder to find now, I've seen getting pricier on Ebay.

Great scent with disappointing longevity... I am a huge fan of Cool Water. Something about the aquatic citrus fragrances that are appealing to me. I was excited about trying Summer Fizz, but shortly after the initial application I became disappointed. The fragrance is similar to the original Cool Water with a little extra lemon kick. Great fragrance..!! I usually get a full day wearing the original Cool Water, but about an hour after applying Summer Fizz, the fragrance is hardly detectable. I must have reapplied three (3) or four (4) times during the day. I also applied a spray to my shirt with the same results - maybe an hour or so longevity. The bottle is uniquely designed with a nice logo etching. The packaging is above average. Obviously, summer and evening are the best time, and events, to wear the fragrance. Given the brevity of the fragrance, I have not, nor expect to receive any compliments. If I can't smell it, I am certain no one else can either. If you can pick up Summer Fizz for less than $20.00 and just enjoying collecting, pick it up. All things considered I will still give Summer Fizz 4 stars out of 5. Given the longevity weakness, I do like the fragrance and I threw in a couple of "Cool Water Kicker" points as I am a fan of Cool Water. Throw it in the gym bag and apply following the shower and prior to heading home. Live life to the fullest...

Opening (about 10-30 minutes): Smells like a sprite with added lemon. Fizz and all. Heart (about 1-2 hours): Smells close to Green Irish Tweed's opening, interestingly enough. Much closer that the original Cool Water, noticeably synthetic but much less so that CW. Drydown (about 1 hour): more of the same, except nearly imperceptibly close to the skin. You have to be no more than 1 inch away to detect it. I'm surprised by the lack of longevity of this scent, especially on my skin which generally holds frangrances longer than most reviewers here. Thumbs up for the scent itself - much smoother than the original, but thumbs down for longevity. That said, at $20 for 125ml, you can afford to decant a bit into a sprayer to refresh yourself from time to time. Dirty little secret alert - if you're going to be doing something that may cause this to wash away (e.g. swimming), you can wear this and tell people you're wearing Green Irish Tweed, but not have to actually waste your precious GIT. Spray liberally though, as this doesn't even come close to the projection of GIT.

I like this fragrance very much but don't let the accord tree fool you, you can't feel the accords since the fragrance has 30-40 minutes longevity.

This is a great refresher for hot summer days, you will feel very good for half an hour, it would be super if it could have just some more longevity.

I have never been a huge fan of the game changing, smash hit phenom that was the original Cool Water. Oh, I liked it enough when I got a whiff of it here and there (and in the mid-Nineties, that wasn't too hard) but I was never moved to wear it. The Nineties "fresh-acquatics" always struck me as too synthetic...a little too high-end dryer sheet.
I had no idea that Cool Water had spun off so many sequels (which I gather are called "flankers"). Not only that, the flankers are all similarly named and packaged and there are so many I can't be the only one who is confused. I also can't be the only one who thinks that there can't be much difference between any of them. That said, I was in Marshall's today and I found a bottle of Cool Water Summer Fizz. I tried it. And I really liked it! It was a fresh acquatic "lite" with strong citrus top-notes; especially lemon, which I love. But, as many have mentioned, almost no lasting power. Which made the discount price of $29.99 over-priced. But it's hard to find really good summertime scents, and this one, as I said, was good. Maybe I'll try to find it cheaper on line somewhere.

Definately one of the better flankers of the Cool water line. Better IMHO than the original, in that it smells expensive. It is a mixture of Roger and Gallet Farina extra vielle and the original cool water, giving this concoction a very nice old school new school vibe. Longevity issues? spray like it is going out of style: I cured this problem with 12 sprays. It was worth it. I'd spray more in the heat of summer.

Like so many summer fragrances, Cool Water Summer Fizz is a light citrus / herb fragrance. Bergamot, mandarin, lemon, mint, lavender, sage with a white musk base form the fragrance with the addition of a fizzy experience that doesnt last very long. There seem to be no levels, just the total accord (minus to fizz after ten minutes) for the short run of the fragrance: Pleasant, uncomplicated, uninspired. The dry down has a lot of similarity to the drydown of regular Cool Water, but I think it is a touch smoother not quite as sharp as the drydown of the original, but that doesnt really matter because the whole run of the fragrance lasts about an hour. Its actually a good fragrance, but its poor longevity earns it a neutral.

Delicious! Very, very fresh and energetic, no sinthetics accords, very masculine. Decent longevity and sillage for a citrus scent on me. Highly recomended.

yeah same, wonderful scent but not mentioned before. longetivity is absolutely terrible. it really isn't wort it because it last about 10 minutes literally. as a test before this review i sprayed 6 sprays over myself and it has literally disappeared 10 minutes later. maybe you will get half hour in extreme bouts of heat. nice smell but dont purchase. go for something of a similar style like armani acqua di gio which is also very nice and summery with much better longetivity and sileage.

haha, while wearing this i frequently got asked if whether i had drunk wodka, so must have a REALLY weird turn out with my body chem.
i like it tho, as i do like most of the coolwaters including their touch of syntheticness :)
