Its an amazing smell! Very fruity and classy. it really is a pleasant scent. Yes, one COULD figure out some irritating powderiness if you really want to, but this powderiness tends to wear off and then its pure awesomeness. I would recommend this. To me this smells even better than Chanel No.5 (and to others too, since i gave people both perfumes to compare) which i would consider similar. Its one of my favorite women's smells, and since it is exclusive and not yet wide spread it even is more attractive. Both thumbs up!

I avoided this perfume for years because so many people were raving about it--people who wouldn't give the time of day to classic fragrances. It wasn't fair of me, I'll admit. Plus, the name "Juicy" made me think of Wrigley's Juicy Fruit Chewing Gum, and my opinion of this perfume suffered as a result of that connotation. Indeed, it is a fruity floral, a genre that used to make me run in terror, as if possessed of demons shouting, "You're too old! Go wear Old Lady Perfume!" (which, by the way, I like). So, today, I sprayed myself with both Juicy Couture and Viva La Juicy. I didn't like the flanker, and the original struck me as just another fruity floral until a few minutes in, when the honeysuckle stepped to the forefront, and it became more floral. Juicy Couture is a tangerine honeysuckle flower shop. And that's not bad--it's just not my particular style. I no longer disparage this fragrance. It's good for its genre.

While I can understand why so many people dislike Couture Couture, I personally find myself rather enjoying it. I do not consider this fragrance unpleasant at all. In fact, Couture Couture is my favourite from the Juicy Couture fragrance range. It's a somewhat odd smelling fragrance, not something that I'm particularly used to trying. In some ways I find it a little similar to the newly released Christian Audigier For Her. It seems as if loud florals with strong fruity notes are becoming fashionable again in the fragrance industry. I don't think Couture Couture smells cheap at all. I also don't find the bottle tacky or ridiculous in any way. The composition has ensured a perfect blend of fruits, flowers, woodsy notes and vanilla. Upon first application the mandarin orange, orange blossom and grapefruit top notes are smooth and strangely intriguing. What follows is mostly plum, rich and jammy. The honeysuckle and jasmine sit lightly in the background, providing subtle hints of softness and femininity. The drydown isn't particularly ground-breaking, however it is extremely pleasant and soft. The sandalwood, amber and vanilla provide a nice, basic conclusion to a rather unique fragrance. The lasting power is very good and the same can be said for the amount of sillage. I am somewhat disappointed that there aren't many people appreciating this fragrance. I wonder if it had been under a different brand name, whether it would have the same bad reaction.

Darn those scent associations sometimes! After reading reviews and liking the note list, I was excited to try this sample. But after I sprayed it, I was immediately transplanted back to my childhood church basement trying to escape catechism by taking a bathroom break. I swear there was something in that bathroom that smelled like this! Must have been some sort of soap or something. Anyway, it is a very sweet and feminine fragrance. Some have said that it is syrupy. I think heavy is a good word as well. It seemed to linger in my nose for a long time which eventually gave me a headache.

I think Kal's on my wavelength here - there's a little fizz to this. Do you have a friend, boss, or maybe a spindly and bitter aunt who it all vitriol to everyone but you? I have a soft spot for Couture Couture. This opens up with the strangest grape accord that struck me initially as minty. I understand every bad comment concerning CC but I don't feel it. A perverse sense of pleasure/humor? I wonder if Juicy Couture slipped some of Escada's Magnetism into some of their old stock and just said, "Sell it!"? Sooooo good.

Sickening. When I smelled this in the Juicy Couture outlet store along with Viva La Juicy and Juicy Couture, the other two were so much better than this one, it's not even a fair comparison. The smell was just too artificial for me.

Good, but not very original - it reminds me very much of Jean Paul Gaultier Classique and Lancome Poeme.

It's funny how childhood memories play a big role in how we react to scents. smelling couture couture, I am instantly reminded of this grape-flavored cough syrup, Dimetapp, that my mom made me drink. Basically all fake-grape scents, candies, and sodas just strike me as disgusting. (I recently felt this way even more strongly with Harajuku lovers wicked style LOVE, which is 100% grape). Couture Couture starts out like grape cough syrup, but that fades and what is left after 30 minutes is a creamy amber and sandalwood that isn't unpleasant, but smells very masculine to me. Not bad, but not feminine either.

I was shocked by this one as I expected a girly floral.

While aldehydes are not listed in the notes anywhere I have a feeling they are there. It's certainly fizzy, it smells like Shandy. To those of you who don't know what Shandy is, it's an alcoholic beverage that is half beer/lager and half lemonade (Sprite). This is a common underage drink in the UK and AU and Couture Couture smells so much like Shandy that I craved one after testing it. What more can I say? Are there such things as yeast, barley and hops notes?

This scent delighted me (probably not in the way intended) and my husband hates it. I love it as a novelty as it feels like a joke perfume to me. It certainly made me laugh!

The bottle is awesomeness.
