Conventional citric/ herbal/musky fragrance with a lemony heady vibe and some flowers in the mix. A bit synthetic but pleasant for sure. Fresh and a bit sparkling at the beginning with the airy effect from peppermint, aromatic herbs and synthetic ozone/helional. This phase is bracing with its lemony/ozonic refreshing temperament. The dry down is a bit figgy and vetiver dominant but smoother and silkier. I detect some Acqua di Parma's facet but in a less natural way. Not bad.

This is a great citrus fragrance. Actually smells very musky. Good for summer, but smells synthetic. Deserves at least a try. Very unique if compared to those new releases.

Reminded me straight away of ysl homme. So had to put ysl homme (which i have a sample) to other hand to see which is which. Ysl Homme is the winner, though it is far from being one of my favourites it has some smoothyness and coolness that is in some way timeless, though for me seems a bit like 90's or something, but still pleasant in its way. D&C Masculine though, citric synthethic soapiness, quite unpleasant. Would smell axe-overloads better...

Synthetic, thin neroli, industrial cleaning aromachemicals, and blasting soapy laundry musks combine into a singularly blaring cacophany of late-twentieth-century sanitized chemical warfare. Naturally (pun intended), it projects like a monster and lasts easily 18 hours on the skin . . . if you can keep in on that long without wanting to burn your skin off with hydrochloric acid.

Imagine a very manly bowl of fruit loops. Smells great, right? Like it on women especially. Originally purchased as l'eau d'ambiance for Jerome, my Chrysler 5th Avenue, and later repurchased for nostalgia and fun.

Im pretty sure D&G dont make this anymore as its difficult to find it anywhere to buy. I used to wear it 5 or 6 years ago when I was 20 - 21 and its definately a younger scent. I have managed to buy a bottle from amazon recently and whilst the scent doesnt grab me as much as it did a few years ago it reminds me of some fantastic summers in europe so I still enjoy wearing it now and then. The scent is definately a very summer smell with very strong citrus tones to start off with. Infact they are almost too strong and it smells like a lemon air freshener which probably puts some people off this fragrance. However if you bear with it and give it 30 mins to dry and tone down there is a lot going on and the woody masculine musk tones come through. Whilst im wearing this today for nostalgia i cant see me using the rest of the bottle until the summer is here and im off to the greek islands again!

Dolce Gabbana - Masculine Everything regarding this boy is average - Scent, silage, projection, age range, seasons' wear. Nevertheless I like it, who said that is not ok to smell average time to time? Beautiful bottle, Opening Notes are Citric, Sweet and Pulgent - Citric (lemons) + Sweet (Fig). Scent is pretty much uplifting I would dare to mention that it shares some similarities with Clinique Happy for Men. Enjoy it because avarage can be good;-)))

This is OK. It is a reasonable introduction (aimed at the younger crowd) to a classy sort of citrus-herbal scent. A teeny bit sweet once in a while but really not problematic. The herbal notes are quite acceptable. The whole thing is legit. Not awe-inspiring but seems pretty good to me. Faint vetiver in the dry-down. All in all, a modest success, hits all the targets in a good way.

If you're not a fan of citrus-dominated scents, skip this altogether. It starts out heavily lemony, but then tends to smooth out over a few minutes. For me, one of my staple "SUMMER" scents. Its getting a little harder to find this one, as it has been discontinued since 2008. Also, beware of fakes...my buddy got a fake off of Ebay (remember: factory sealed ONLY)!

Inoffensive but boring lemon scent. Unthinkable that D&G would discontinue By Man in favor of dross like this. Whatever. It's a decent office scent. I was complimented on this by a stranger in a supermarket, for what it's worth.
