I've been wearing this scent since 1998 when it first came out. But I have a bottle for about 5 years. I don't know if I bought an old bottle from FragranceNet, or that it's lasting power just does not last long. But I don't remember it being this weak. And for the price I pay I don't want to be the weak.

I received a sample off this several years ago and I was head over heals about it. It drove me crazy that I couldn't have it. Now I got this for my birthday and it sucks. The bouquet seems mellow and sad and it doesn't smell neither fresh nor interesting. I'm disappointed.

I don't recognise any of the official notes in Emporio Armani He. That's a first. To me, it's a very understated oriental with violets, wood and musk. However, at times it behaves very badly and reveals a synthetic side of its personality that has been pointed out by other reviewers as well. In such moments it gives off clouds of the chemical in hairspray as well as an ants-like (sic) smell that I do not care for at all. Without the the chemicals it would have been superb.

This is truly a masculine scent. Though I don't wear it all the time, I had a girlfriend that wanted me to wear only this. I find it refreshing, elegant and woodsy. The container it comes in makes it ideal for travel.

best of armani men for me, along with white - i met this scent about 2001 and it had to be my main fragrance since then.. absolutely elegant, soft, clean, crisp, and free.. always worked great to my skin, weird thing when i smelled it to others it wasnt the same thing, its a perfume that gets involved with your skin smells i guess and then it performs.... one of my loved fragrancies ever.

Bright, clean, fresh. Generic allusions to spice and vetiver and wood. Completely inoffensive, a safe choice and an acceptable introduction to a nice sort of scent.

I fail to see what some say is so unique here. The opening is very common.. a sweet citrus with some green notes.. In the middle I get a synthetic smelling vetiver, backed by a light cypress blend. The base notes bring in some woods and musk and a creaminess. Longevity is pretty good, although it may not seem like so, since it becomes a skin scent after the first hour or 2. It does last a good 10 hours, sometimes longer, but 80% of the time, it isn't projecting much. Emporio Armani He, is without doubt 'signature scent' material -- Not just a signature scent, but a very safe and completely inoffensive one. And although it smells excellent an perfectly balanced, it's not at all very special. Other scents I can compare it to would be the opening of Love & Luck by Ed Hardy, only simmer down the citrus. This also reminds me of RL Romance Silver once Silver it dries down. And, I'm almost 100% sure there's something else that smells identical to this, I just can't quite put my finger on it yet. Oh.. one other important thing.. Don't get curious with your bottle and pry open the bottom part because it's a little lopsided, or ya may notice it to just pour straight out from the well in there. Ya there's a big hole in the middle of the bottom of the bottle when you remove the cheap plastic piece there. Unfortunately, I lost about half my juice from my 1 oz bottle doing this :(

Not bad. In fact I kind of find it better than Code wich lacks longevity and projection on me. Although this one is slightly synthetic, I find it appealing none the less. It is to thin for winter but I bet it makes wonders during spring or maybe autumn when temperatures are just right. There is nothing >>natural<< about this scent, it is very modern, sweetly cold in its weird way. Don't know why but it reminds me of Space Guild from Frank Herberts Dune. This might be the first Armani fragrance I'll posess.

This is kinda dark, mysterious, sophisticated, calming, green[not good at describing notes, but thats what I think of when I smell this],little bit powdery cologne and on the contrary to the other reviewers I get atleast 10 hours out of it[even in winter] and still can smell it unless I don't take a shower. I love this one,can be used as signature scent,I loved it from the very first sniff. Very unique one.

Got this in the xmas sales, decided to buy it as few actually own this fragrance compared to Armani code for example. First impression was it spells really like Calvin Klein Eternity for men when first sprayed on, having the same sage greeny spell. But then dries down really and it seems to evaporate quickly, which means you really have to put alot on to keep the smell around, spray about double you would usually with another fragrance. And due to the price and the amount of juice needed to keep it around, is one of the main reasons for a neutral review. The spell of the he is really masalcine, and it would be perfect for night on the town or for a lady friend, but i think there is better fragrances for that either cheaper or last longer. Overall 6.0 out of 10, shame it has everything going for it but lack of staying power and price
