At first I didnt like this fragrance, but after a few times of wearing it I fell in love. It reminded me of my child hood days of growing up on my home Island. The opening is a little strong, but once it drys down you will not be able to stop smiffing yourself. I wear this to work or as an evening smell because it is masculine. This was a blind buy for me and I am very happy with my purchase.

Very pleasant aquatic scent, like a less floral SMW, or MI without the melon - moving very close towards the salty citrus of Azzaro Chrome and CK One. I get a sweet citrus smell with a bit of salt/ozone to it. Later on a small base of creed ambergris within a sort of citrus and green tea smell but overall this is quite a timid fragrance, longevity is weak. Update: Been living with a bottle of this for a week now and I can now categorically say that whilst I love the scent, I shall be selling this on as the longevity is just too weak, and there are really far too many other identical frags for a fraction of the price that smell just as good. Erolfa is DEFINITELY not worth the price they sell it for, despite the pleasantness of the scent as it really is very lovely, but to me it smells too much like a whole load of cheaper alternatives with better sillage, for instance Azzaro Chrome which is really very similar and has far greater sillage on me than erolfa. As a sidenote for those in the UK - Waitrose have an own brand shower gel and soap called 'Sea Salt and Kelp' which smells exactly like Erolfa and costs very little indeed - nice to use in conjunction with Erolfa to increase the poor longevity on your skin for a few more fleeting moments...

Not one of creeds best. I have the reformulated bottle and its a very clean, watery, airy, lemon smell. I get none of the dirty ocean notes I've read about on the old bottles which is disappointing. It's pleasant to wear and has that creed seal of quality but its almost too transparent, projection and longevity are consistently poor, you have to spray it on clothing to get more than 3 hours out of it. Will finish the bottle I have but won't replace it, not worth the price even when bought from a discounter. In my opinion aqua di sale or sel marine are far better choices if you are after a ocean or coastal inspired scent.

An early blueprint of Millesime Imperial.  Similar to Millesime Imperial but more simplistic, more citrus and much saltier.

It's a decent fragrance and an overall good fresh scent for the summer.  However, performance is a problem.  The projection and longevity are some of the worst that Creed has to offer.  The opening and base notes are rather average, but it's the midnotes that makes this fragrance special.  Too bad they only last for a half hour to an hour tops.

Do not get me wrong, it's far from terrible  But if you put this in context of the entire Creed house, it's one of the worst.  And for the money, there are dozens of better options.

Was pregnant with expectation at another Creed scent. Could barely smell it originally and when I did it was gone. I was extremely angry at having bought this. The House of Creed definitely one to stay away from for me.

This only gets a neutral and not a thumbs down because the scent is so ridiculously good. Longevity is a 1 out of 10 on me. What a serious shame.

I would have given this a neutral rating but the poor longevity and lack of development in Erolfa inspired my decision for a thumbs down. It starts off like a stripped down version of MI and SMW. The marine note that those two have in common is basically what Erolfa is all about. Just a basic citrus, ozonic opening that quickly dries down to the ambergris drydown that Creed is known for. But unlike the other Creeds, all I can detect in Erolfa's drydown is ambergris. It's very uninpiring to say the least. Of course I'm sure many others would disagree with my assessment.

Sublime fragrance. Smells like a warm summer breeze blowing through laundry hanging on the line. I think this would be fine for women to wear too. Can't imagine erolfa offending anyone. This is definitely the most underrated of all the creeds. One of, if not the best. thumbs up.
