I've been searching for a good fig and have so far tried Marc Jacobs, Philosykos, L'Artisan Premier Figuier Extreme, and Lutens' Bois et Fruits (no fig here to my nose). What sets this one apart is the sweetness. If fig leaves are stoic and sharp, this is a smoother, more wearable, and classier version. It would work well with a suit and tie. Heeley's website says this: "Fig essence does not in fact exist for the perfumer, so fresh notes of green grass, tea, rhubarb and melon combine with dry grass, white musk and cedar to create this deceptively simple mono note scent.", but this is hardly a mono note scent. The opening is strongly sweet and slightly synthetic (fig and rhubarb?), quickly giving way to green vegetable notes reminiscent of cucumber, grass, and fig leaf while still smelling like fig fruit. The dry down is the smokier, more ashy fig leaf tamed by musk. I think I found my favorite fig scent.

In my opinion, this is one of the better fig scents available. Mmmmm, it is nice and green! Not only fresh-cut grass, but also crisp, crunchy leaves. The latter reminds me of Diptyque's excellent Eau de Lierre. There's also tart rhubarb and a little bit of green cantaloupe rind. Thus, the scent is very nice, crisp and refreshing. It would be great in warm weather, as others have noted. Eventually the typical creamy and slightly woody fig note emerges, and rounds out the somewhat acidic opening. The scent is sheer, not heavy, and never too sweet or heavy. The dry-down gets nice and woody, and has good longevity. If you like fig, you need to try this.

I have a fig tree in my yard, and this IS Fig. The difficulty is that it is fig fruit, sweet gourmand, and Fig leaf/sap very sharp green, almost tomato leaf sharp. It balances the fig, but it is missing something. The leaf is a bit too irritating to my nose.

As well as the other respectful reviewers have asserted,  this fig based fragrance  is neither a milky-resinous  nor a fruity one,  being instead a straightforward fig leaves fragrance slightly lemony, fizzy and cedary. There are hints of disinfectant effect at the beginning but the latter is not durable and is not properly synthetic, is indeed sour, grassy and slightly boozy in reminiscence of a Mohito cocktail. The sourness is ephemeral and the smell becomes figgy and musky-cedary till  the end without any other notable influence (neither fruits nor balsams). I prefer the ethereal and airy Ninfeo Mio's vibe or the Ferragamo Pour Homme's masculine class. A woodsy scent, really botanic but not enough distinguished and complex to me.

Altough i like fig scents, this one is not for me. Heeley Figuier is in fact a very realistic fig fragrance, able to reproduce both the leafy and the fruity aspects of fig. But there is something on its opening that i dislike and reminds me of furniture polisher. I guess that it may be the rhuibarb. Figuier opens with a fresh, grassy note, then followed by this furniture polish note, which is quick but enough to bother me while it lasts. Then both fruity and leafy aspects of fig goes into the center of the aroma. There is something on the fruity side of Figuier that reminds me of the coconut soapy aroma of Marc Jacobs Men, but a little bit refined and less forced. The base is very close to skin, a faint woody green whisper. Figuier seems an elegant, minimalistic, non-ofensive fig, it`s not one that i would have.

It is fig alright ... real and potent ... alas too sweet for my taste and rather unidirectional. It lingers for hours so for those who like it ... will be a treat. I personally think that I prefer Philosykos, or Fico di Amalfi if nothing else for their dryness.

My impressions of this mirror foetidus. Too me it is not fruity and is almost pure fig leaf and stem. Very green with the hint of the fruit that comes out in the leaves. I do actually get a hint of the lime, which does add some interest, but this is a true fig leaf scent on me., Although it is beautiful, modern, and like all Heeley's very well made and constructed, it doesnt hold my interest as fig leaf isn't one of my top favorite notes. If you are a fan, this one is for you though.

Sharp, cool, and green -- more leaf than fruit, as the others have said. You'll feel like you've rubbed crushed leaves all over your body. I smell very little progression: there's only a small difference between the slightly (and I mean slightly) citrus opening and the sweeter drydown. I prefer Jo Malone slightly fruitier 'green fig' take in Wild Fig and Cassis, but there's something about Figuier's unadorned, straight-up green fig that I find really comfortable and easy to wear. There's something unconcerned about it that I find chic.

This is a great fragrance for spring and summer, for those who don't like citrus/florals as hot-weather fragrances.

Oh, but longevity is bad. Better than blink-and-you'll-miss-it Wild Fig and Cassis, but very annoying for a product in this price range. Sillage is close to the skin.

I like fig, and I like the only two other Heeley frags I've sample, but I was disappointed with this one. The fig note is indeed in there in a clean and robust way, but there's a dirty-smelling/greasy note there that I just can't get passed. Ultimately, it develops into a musk, which I find quite unpleasant.

Opens with a combative fig leaf. Dont wash it off; its viciousness is dissipated within five or six minutes. When it settles down the fig leaf note has become one of the most true fig notes I have encountered: The note seems to me to be quite pure, and even though Ive seen lime and cedar mentioned in a pyramid, I cant really detect them in the accord. It impresses me as as pure of fig leaf note as Ive encountered. Its very well done, but, being a simply a fig leaf note, it really isnt enough to hold my interest for the duration of the fragrance. This would be a great fragrance for a fig leaf addict: Its highly refined, it wears beautifully, and it is meditatively comfortable. The fig leaf just doesnt do it for me, but I must give credit to the high quality of the fragrance.
