Grand Vacances by Parfums de Nicolaï, 2003

I've yet to find a Parfums de Nicolai scent that I am really mad about. My first impression was that this resembled the old-fashioned lemon drops. Remember when as a child opening the bag of sugary confections and the zesty sugary lemon scent that lingered? After it starts to dry down a little more on the skin it gets a touch of masculine; perhaps veviter?

I was really starting to enjoy the zing of the lemon when in record time the zesty lemon turned sour and dusty. Luckily, in less than 2 minutes it totally disappeared. Would really love it if the opening was lasting.
